The Johns Creek Arts Center was founded with the belief that everyone in the community should have access to the arts.  The Center places a priority on engaging those of all ages who are considered under-served since they lack the resources and/or the opportunity to interact with the arts.  JCAC partners with area non profits who connect the arts center to at risk youth.  The Center also works with assisted living facilities to bring arts to their residents.  All told, each year the Center delivers more than 200 classes, workshops, scholarships and camps through our outreach efforts at no charge to the participants.

Our Partners:

Fulton County Libraries where JCAC offers art and literacy program for toddlers and their caregivers.

STARHouse a Roswell based award winning nonprofit afterschool enrichment program for at risk youth working with Esther Jackson and Mimosa Elementary, both Title 1 schools.  JCAC brings “Books and Brushes” program monthly for all students.  JCAC’s art instructor reads a story which is followed with a subsequent related art project.

North Fulton Community Charities serves low income families in North Fulton County.  JCAC provides quarterly hands-on art activities for school age children.  The participants are given art supplies and books so they can continue to make art at home.
