Wildlife Illustration Wednesday Afternoons Fall II 2018

Wildlife Illustration Wednesday Afternoons Fall II 2018

Learn the fundamentals of animal anatomy and make drawing wildlife easier in this techniques-based drawing course.  We'll learn the common features of mammals to look for in your references, learn how to spot the subtle differences between similar animals, and learn a simple technique for structuring your illustrations to draw animals in motion.  We'll be doing life studies of real animal skulls in addition to our photo references.

Supplies:

  • 9x12 Sketchbook of your choice.  I do recommend gray tone, though, simply because it makes drawings look way classier with no extra effort on your part!
  • Drawing pencils, minimum of 2H, HB, and 2B
  • An eraser
