Friends Art Show Submissions


Thank you for your participation in Friends, a Johns Creek Arts Center exhibition. This exhibition showcases the talent of the many exceptional artists in our community. This is an open community multimedia exhibition. There is no jurying process or entry fee to enter. Each artist will have at least one work exhibited as space permits. We are a small gallery and works will be accepted on a first registered, first serve basis. We are able to exhibit approximate 40 average sized paintings.

Eligible Media

Friends is open to original two and three-dimensional works completed within the last four years.  Works may not have previously been exhibited at the Johns Creek Arts Center. Eligible media includes but is not limited to oil, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, mixed media, collage, tempera, printmaking, colored pencil, pastel, ceramics, sculpture, fiber, and photography  All work must be presented in a professional manner. Accepted work must be exhibition-ready. All 2 D work must be framed and include a wire for hanging. 3D work must sit solidly on a flat surface or be properly mounted for hanging. Works may not exceed 36 inches in any dimension.

Entry Process

Each artist may submit up to 3 works. Each artist will have at least one work accepted for exhibition.  All entries must be submitted online. We are a relatively small gallery. Due to space constraints, we may not be able to exhibit all work submitted.


There is a spot on the web form to submit your images.  Each image should be less than 1 MB in size; do not upload directly from a camera or phone.   If you have trouble submitting images, email jpegs of images to

All jpegs should be labelled with the artist’s name, title of work, size, and media. Please label jpegs in the following manner: AI_Title_Medium_Size.jpg, (AI=Artist Initials). For example an entry would look like this: AI_Sunset_Watercolor_22x18.jpg. Image file size must be smaller than 1MB.


All works may be for sale or NFS. If a work is sold during the exhibition, the artist retains 75% of the selling price. 25% of the sales price will be retained by the Johns Creek Art Center. Should work be stolen or damaged beyond repair, artists will be compensated the same percentage as if the work had sold. All artists must sign a gallery policy acceptance form upon delivery of work to the arts center.


Delivery Deadline

All accepted work must be delivered to the Johns Creek Arts Center April 11th and April 12th between 10am and 5pm. All accepted work must be labeled on the back with the artist's name, title of the work, and price. 


Artwork Pick up

All works must be picked up by May 1st.  Artwork left for 30 days or more becomes the property of the JCAC at its sole discretion. Entry into this exhibition constitutes agreement with all terms enumerated in this prospectus, and registration agreement including a commitment to show accepted work for the duration of the exhibition. All of these conditions must be met or work will not be accepted.
